9 days to go...

I have to say im a tad tired as i write this. This weekend has just been so much fun! Both Saturday and Sunday at the rugby was quality. The atmosphere of being with 1000's of cheering Kenyans watching the games- AND Kenya winning made for a fab couple of days. On the Sunday the group of teachers went dressed as Pirates. Its all good when walking around together with people laughing and cheering us- but when wondering alone one tends to feel like a complete loser!

After the final yesterday the group of us all came back to the school bar. Donald and myself decided to text Felix (the kenya coach) to see if we could get in on the hotel after party for the rugby teams. Amazingly it worked out- so we taxi-ed it across town to a rather swanky hotel where all the teams had been put up throughout the tournament. It was quite bizarre once in there- surrounded by all the boys who we had been watching earlier in the day. There was a free bar going, so we were told to help ourselves! Felix then got us downstairs to where the dinner was going on. I sat with some of the Kenyan players- even got introduced to the Kenyan captain!

The special guest of honor at the speeches was a cheetah! Imagine! I was totally loving it!
Donald got involved with the drinking games which the Bristol boys were playing, and soon after puked in the bush (the party was going on by the pool outside). He decided that home was the best bet for him, however i stayed on and went out clubbing with the boys! ooooh yeah.

Anyways- i got back at 3 this morning, and not feeling too bad for it!

Ohh- i have managed to complete my 10km target! Will try do it a few more times this week to get the time down!

These next 9 days are mental busy with something happening pretty much every day in the evenings. I dont know when im going to pack up my flat and sort my bags!?
